Details
This work depicts the heart of the girl in the foreground. The things on the stump represent the things the girl has neglected in her life.
The books piled up in front of the girl are her studies, the girl in the same uniform as the girl is her friend, and the three people standing side by side are her family.A stump (=deliberately cut tree) represents that the girl has given up on her efforts or has cut off her relationship. The boy submerged in the water is the person who caused the girl to neglect her studies and relationships.

The light shining through the cracks in the rock wall shows the future ahead of facing various problems, and the door in the back left is an escape from those problems.represents the option. The fact that the ground is submerged in water expresses that the girl's heart is overflowing with negative emotions. In order to convey the girl's sadness and anxiety to the viewer, I made the painting darker overall and made the sky a reddish color.I intentionally made the characters' expressions invisible, and focused on expressing emotions with colors.

The message is that even if the situation is hopeless now, if you face the despair and deal with it, a bright future may come, and that sometimes it is okay to run away without trying to change the situation.I want people who are suffering from feelings of alienation and lethargy to look at the paintings and think about how to overcome them.
