Katsushika Young Art Competition 2022

For the purpose of discovering and nurturing young artists, we will hold art competitions, raise interest in art among the younger generation, and encourage residents to participate in cultural and artistic activities.This year will be the fourth time the event has been held.Judges are asked to have a wide range of sensibilities cultivated through working with many young artists.In addition, we have introduced a unique judging method that adds votes from visitors to the exhibition of selected works.

The 30th Memorial Katsushika Artist Exhibition

An exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and crafts by artists associated with Katsushika.During the exhibition period, in addition to gallery talks (commentary on works) by artists, workshops will also be held at a separate venue.

The 14th Katsushika Contemporary Calligraphy Exhibition

Excellent works by famous calligraphers in Katsushika Ward will be displayed together, along with materials on the history of Katsushika's calligraphy.During the exhibition period, in addition to "gallery talks" and "in-house calligraphy" by calligraphers, workshops (reservation required) will be held at a separate venue, such as "Let's make eraser stamps!"
